Salon Concerts

Historically, the concept of Salon Concerts is not new. It is simply based on the way music used to be performed in homes as entertainment, before there was huge concert halls and access to recorded performances. Imagine Paris in the XIXth century, and think of Frédéric Chopin playing his most recent compositions by candlelight, while Eugene Delacroix presented a new painting and George Sand read her poetry to the people gathered to experience it all! Salon concerts were and still are social gatherings that bring together people who want to share their musical experience with others who, like them, crave the magic created by being close to the artist, where the creation happens, in the intimate setting of the music studio.

In today's world, filled with downloadable music, it seems like a good idea, from time to time, to go back to the source and to take the time to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. This is my inspiration for offering to you these private evenings filled with music, art and delicacies!
